View Kahlua's Pedigree

Today, September 1, 2004, I said goodbye to a very special and sweet girl who came into my life just a little over 10 years ago. Kahlua was not only my first show dog but was the foundation for CynTech Reg'd Boxers. Words cannot describe how much she has meant to me throughout the years. Even though Kahlua didn't obtain a Canadian Championship, she was a champion of my heart and gave me more than I ever would have expected. What I will miss about Kahlua the most is her sweet temperament and the close bond we shared from the day I brought her home to the day I had to let her go to Rainbow Bridge.

Goodbye my beautiful, sweet Kahlua. You are now free from any pain and the spondylosis that took over your body. A piece of my heart has gone with you and I miss you dearly but know that I will cherish you always through the wonderful memories we made together. I see so much of your gentle and sweet nature in your granddaughter, Bindy, and I am so happy that a part of you remains through her. Tell Nick, Allie and Jasper that I miss them all dearly and I can't wait till the day we will all be together again. Love Mom, Bindy, Brady and Felix.

Kahlua is the foundation bitch for CynTech Reg'd Boxers. She was not successful in the conformation ring but has produced some very nice puppies for me. Under the guidance and experience of Sharon Berry, of Berlane Boxers, I bred Kahlua to her stunning homebred male, Can. Ch. Berlane's Corporate Image SOM (Max), who is an Am. Ch. Rochil's Grande Marshall SOM son, in 1998, and then repeated the breeding in 1999. The first litter of three was whelped May 17, 1998, and from this litter came Can. Ch. CynTech's Hot Rod Lincoln (Linc), Kahlua's 1st Canadian Champion. Kahlua's second litter of five, whelped April 22, 1999, produced Can. Ch. CynTech's Sharp Dressed Man (Kosmo), who completed his championship at eleven months of age (all breeder/owner handled), becoming Kahlua's 2nd Canadian Champion, Can. Ch. CynTech's Sassy But Sweet (Sassy), who completed her championship at 18 months of age (in six weekends of showing), becoming Kahlua's 3rd Canadian Champion and Can Ch. CynTech's Ally McBeal DOM (Allie), who at 24 1/2 months of age, became Kahlua's 4th Canadian Champion (all breeder/owner handled), making her a Canadian Dam Of Merit! I am very pleased with what Kahlua and Max have produced together and I have high hopes for continued success in my breeding program with these young hopefuls! Thank you Sharon & Ron Berry for your guidance and support, it means so much to me!

Kahlua becomes a Canadian Dam Of Merit when her daughter, Can. Ch. CynTech's Ally McBeal (Allie), completed her Canadian Championship by going Winners Female, Best Of Winners, and BEST OF BREED under Boxer breeder judge Barbara Beland! Allie is the second Best Of Breed winner for Kahlua.

Kahlua, at 7 1/2 years, and I qualify for our third leg in Novice A to obtain our CKC CD at the Alberta Kennel Club Obedience Trial on February 1, 2002, under Canadian Obedience judge Lawrence Klassen. What a very emotial moment it was!

Kahlua and I are presented with the 2001 Alberta Boxer Club High Point Obedience Award, sponsered by Tricker Boxers, at the 2002 ABC Specialty Dinner by Christine Tricker of Tricker Boxers!

I am so very proud of my veteran girl!

Kahlua and her daughter, Ch. CynTech's Ally McBeal (Allie), go Best Brace In Specialty Show under US judge, Clay Coady, at the Alberta Boxer Club Specialty Show on April 19, 2003, in Edmonton, Alberta!

Flash! Kahlua's daughter, Ch. CynTech's Ally McBeal (Allie), becomes a Canadian Dam Of Merit when Allie's daughter (Kahlua's granddaughter), Ch. CynTech's DashNBy Tornado Ally (Bindy), completed her Canadian Championship by going Winners Female and Best Of Winners from the Bred By class (breeder/owner handled) under US judge Patricia Gellerman!
